I mentioned in one of my post that organic growth is the key to your blog success. In this post, i would like to stress what factors do you need to aim for if your blog can be consider successful. There are millions of blog running in the blogosphere and there are a lot of A-list blogs that you can find in your niche. Do you actually do a research on why their blog is so successful compared to the other blogs blogging about the same topic? How do you actually define whether a blog is successful or not? These are the 10 factors which your blog must aim for if you want to have a successful blog :
Quality content : Successful bloggers tend to roll out quality content day in day out. A successful blog need to be consistently publish fresh and new content which can arouse curiosity and talking point across the blogosphere.
Subscribers : Lets face it. Statistics do not lie. If you have 20-30k subscribers reading your blog everyday, there is no reason why your blog is not consider successful.
Followers : If you have a large following who follow your tweets, you will be making sure that you quality content will be read by most of your visitors all the time.
Appealing design : A unique and appealing blog design will certainly add some favor to your blog and first impression matters as it decides whether your visitors stay or go.
Inspire : By being a successful blogger, you need to exert your influence in the blogosphere. How do you do that? You do that by inspiring others. Be it creating your own product or running a blog course, you can exert your influence if you make others follow on what you are doing.
Branding : Consistent branding of your blog which includes your writing style and logo of your blog. Stick to your branding is a good way to get yourself recognized in the online world, a picture of you will certainly helps in building trust and relationship with your readers.
Authority : By showing your authority in things that you do show that you are willing to take up responsibilities. By showing your authority requires you to invent, inject your own ideas and voice your opinions.
Professional : If you are a professional blogger, this shows that you are earning a decent income to quit your everyday 9 to 5 job. Not many people can reach that level but who knows, if you continue to work hard then everything is possible.
Community : To have a huge community which refers to your readers and networking with other blogger has a huge impact in determining a successful blog. Its true that you do need some help along the way as long as you are blogging.
Rankings : Every blogger want their blog to be rank as high as possible be it Technorati or Alexa. Having a high ranking helps in increasing the traffic and advertising.
