I did a check on my last post 10 factors to aim for if you want your blog to be successful and i am surprised that it has 4 retweets on the posts. Alltop_Blogging is one of them and immediately i logged into my twitter account to have a look as i am curious to find out what Alltop_blogging is all about. I went into their website to take a look. After visiting their website, seriously i think it maybe useful to some of you if you like to know the latest stories from the other bloggers who are blogging the same niche as you. For those who don’t know about Alltop here is a explaination from them of what their website is all about :
You can think of Alltop as the “online magazine rack” of the web. We’ve subscribed to thousands of sources to provide “aggregation without aggravation.” To be clear, Alltop pages are starting points—they are not destinations per se. Ultimately, our goal is to enhance your online reading by displaying stories from sources that you’re already visiting plus helping you discover sources that you didn’t know existed.
We do this by collecting the headlines of the latest stories from the best sites and blogs that cover a topic. We group these collections — “aggregations” — into individual web pages. Then we display the five most recent headlines of the information sources as well as their first paragraph. Our topics run from adoption to zoology with photography, food, science, religion, celebrities, fashion, gaming, sports, politics, automobiles, Macintosh, and hundreds of other subjects along the way.
If you are into the blogging niche, just choose the blogging categories and you can see the most recent 5 headlines from most of the top blogs in the blogging niche. For example there is copyblogger, problogger, dailyblogtips and many of the rest that you can think of. There is also a category displaying the most popular stories.
Glance through the headline and place your cursor on the headline that you are interested in, part of the story will surface so that you can decide whether to read it or not.
If you want to submit your sites or you find that some of your favorite sites are missing, you can go to their submission form to complete the form. Do take note that your favorite site need to have RSS feeds in order for them to import the stories.
I believe this is a site that i will visit often as I think it is pretty useful. Most of the times i will tend to miss out some of the awesome posts by other bloggers. This is a place that consolidate most of the site that i regularly visit and i can scan through all of them under one roof.
