Do you have a blogging mentor?

Blog mentor

No, i am not talking about you joining some courses and you are taught step by step how to start an online business. I am talking about bloggers in your niche who you look for inspiration and someone who you look up to. Either you like the way they interpret their blogs, their way of writing and even their methods of creating a successful blogs or websites. Is there any one that you hold high regards of or you always try to put his methods into practice and try to perfect it? Someone who you regard as a mentor in your online business.

This blog is to provide blogging tips and resources for beginners and there are thousands and thousands of similar blogs out there in the blogosphere. Before i started the blog, is there anyone who i look for inspiration or look up to?

For me, Daniel Scocco owner of Dailyblogtips is the person who i held high regards in the blogging niche. During the times when i started to blog about my favorite game Football Manager 2010, i came across Dailyblogtips and has been following it ever since.

Why did i like Dailyblogtips so much? Few reasons there. Firstly the title itself already tells us that the updates is very frequent and the coverage of the blog topics is very wide. I like Daniel’s unique view of expressing in the post that he put up and it is indeed very rewarding reading his posts. There are always a lot of blogging tips and advice for his readers. I really benefited and learnt a lot from his blog. Daniel has definitely set a benchmark for me to achieve if i want to be successful.

Do you have anyone who you look up to in your niche? What do you actually learn from them by reading their blogs? Please share with us your thoughts.

Thanks for the visit and comments Ultimate Blogger. All of them have set a benchmark in the blogging niche and it would be difficult to surpass them. However they still provide us with the motivations that if we work hard and patiently, hopefully we can reach the stage where they are now.

We are all aware that most bloggers now are greatly inspired by gurus in blogosphere. Darren Rowse is one of these famous blogger I’ve known. The first time I’ve heard about him is from my professor back in college. He was a full-time professor and a part-time blogger. Actually, he won around $100 in Problogger’s contest. It’s really amazing how mentors change the lives of others because of the inspiration that they are giving to them.
