Filling with Gratitude in 2010 While Welcoming 2011

I have a short break from blogging and enjoying some free time with my family during the Christmas holidays. I hope you have a great time with your family as well. However i was unlucky to be down with a cold for the past two days and only manage to get better now. Soon 2010 will be over and we will be welcoming 2011 with both hands few days later. I have a pretty amazing six months since started Findmyblogway in July.

I had a post regarding my targets and goals written on August if you can remember. It talked about my simple goals which simply is to:

- provide as many useful blogging tips and resources avaliable

- update the content frequently

- connect with many bloggers

- create some revenue out of this blog

- enjoy blogging as much as i can

These are simple goals but very important as i have no idea how this blog will be going at that time. I am proud to say besides revenue, i have been able to enjoy myself and achieve the rest of the targets. I haven’t been very active in monetizing this site and it’s not a surprise that i am not making any dime till now. Well that’s not my primary target.

This blog may not have biggest traffic but i am fully content to have a share in the blogosphere. Just seeing my name online is amazing. To have people coming to read my post and posting comments are extremely satisfying for me.

I feel the proudest of this site is i am able to build a active community within this blog. From no comments in July when i was starting out to receiving an average of 10-20 comments excluding mine in every post is an achievement. You readers and visitors are the most important in my eyes as you are the ones who motivated me to keep this blog going.

So far this blog has generated:

This month saw me switching to a premium theme which reaffirm my commitment to this blog for long term. I am just glad i finally took that step though the design of this blog needs room for improvements. I personally don’t think its unique but it’s not ugly either. I like the use of white space and it looks pretty clean to me. I am going to stick this for some time till a decision is to be made.

A Thank You Message

There are many people whom i like to thank for a enjoyable blogging journey for me in 2010, people who have accompany, support and encourage me all this while. Even though we are living in different sides of the world but i feel we are so close to each other.

Onibalusi Bamidele – A simple email saw you respond to my question and took the time to answer which i appreciate a lot. You are one of the first to give your support to a new blogger and that only tells what a nice guy are you. Imagine you are not even half of my age but you really teaches me a lot. Hope to see you go bigger in 2011.

Michael Riley – Without your comments, things just got a bit quieter. You are always one of the first to give your comments and without failing to do so in every post. I am actually disappointed you are not blogging anymore but i will be waiting for you to return. Hopefully you can rekindle your passion and we will be able to see your great writing again.

Samuel Ayodele – It’s been great to know you my little brother. No matter what happens, i know i can count on you for the support. You always reminded me to have fun and that’s what i am doing. To enjoy and keep having fun. I know you surely are doing that too. Keep on rocking in 2011.

Patricia Millman – What can i say about this beautiful lady. I am so glad you are in the blogosphere. You have planted your lavender seeds everywhere and people are enjoying the scent that you have brought. Things just got merrier with you around and i am started to get addicted in lavender. May your lavender love spread even wider in 2011.

Ryan Biddulph – You are a wise man. Your delightful and thoughtful comments always complement the post and bring additional value. A post will never be complete without your well crafted comments.

Ding Neng – The fact that we are from the same country makes it even more special. It has been great to have support from you all this while and lets enjoy the journey together in 2011.

Richard – We are quite similar in certain aspects. We both hold a full time job, being a father and husband. You resonate the most when i publish something about juggling between family and blogging. I wish you well with your blog in 2011.

Rahul – You are one of the regular visitors and always will be here to show your support. I can’t thank you enough for that and let’s keep on engaging in 2011.

Michele Welch – I can’t remember how i come across your blog but i am glad i did that. Your support to my series of “Inspirational Bloggers Tips” has been awesome and i am really touched by your fantastic support. Your post has taught me plenty of things and i am sure you will continue to roll out even more quality posts in 2011.

Thu Nyugen – One of the other superwoman for me, the other being Michele Plenty of suggestion from you to me during the “Inspirational Bloggers Series”. Your help is much appreciated. I really admire your blogging passion and that’s something i need to learn from you. Hope you have a great 2011.

DiTesco – Whenever i ask, you are one of the first to respond. Your help and support to “Inspiration Bloggers Tips” just couldn’t come at a better time. I am sorry not to engage more with you and lets chase back some lost time in 2011.

Adam Paudyal –  You are such a helpful guy and never hesitate to lend a helping hand whenever i need. I am so glad to know you. Lets continue to cross our paths together in 2011. Cheers.

Tristan Higbee – You made me realize that i need to work very hard in order to stand out from a crowded blogosphere. You always make an effort to drop by and pass a comment which is very pleasing. Keep on inspiring as i am looking forward to bigger things from you.

I am sure i miss some of you. I would like to apologize here if i forgot to mention you. Many thanks too to all the readers and visitors who drop by and leave your footprints.
