Hi friends and readers of Findmyblogway.com, i just want to make this post short and sharp. This is an announcement that Findmyblogway is moving to a premium theme soon. I finally succumbed to the temptation of using a premium theme for this blog. I still love my free theme Suffusion but i wanted more support and options. It’s as simple as that. I wanted more features and full control of how my blog looks and how it works.
For long i have been resisting the urge to buy any products. By purchasing a premium theme underline my commitment to this awesome blogging community and strengthen my belief to make this blog a success. The future is uncertain but i am just glad to make this my first step.
As you know i am no designer but i will not be using a standalone theme which have a built in design. Sure it looks prettier but the options are sometimes limited. I still prefer theme framework where there is no limits in the sky. Theme framework has more difficult learning curve but i will be learning and tweaking along the way.
So which theme framework did i purchased? The answer is the HeadWay themes. What attracts me to make the decision of purchasing is definitely the visual editor. It saves me time and i don’t have to play around with the codes. I knew this theme since it was released last year.
There is some procrastination of my part which i think i could not make a pretty site out of it. Finally, I overcome the fear and procrastination as this would hinder my growth if i keep thinking that way. The only question is whether i am willing to learn. In the worst case, i would employ a designer next time if i have the budget.
Finally i am just happy to make my first purchase after my domain names and web hosting. The new site will probably be up in 1-2 days time. So stay tune for that. Before i end the post, just want to say thanks for the support always.

If you don’t want to code then headway is best for you. You can also try thesis if you have basic knowledge of programmings.

Good move Lye. Headway is a great theme and I recommend it together with Thesis and Genesis. Any of these three are awesome and aside form being the best frameworks around, their support is great. Are you thinking of using a child theme? Anyway, good luck with your pro theme and I do hope you get satisfied with it.

All three are definitely good theme frameworks, Thesis and Genesis need some design and coding skills so they are out for me. Headway seems to be more easier to me.
I will stick to this for a while, no intention to use a child theme yet. Probably if i can find one that i like.

You can outsource your blog header part. Some great sites are digitalpoint and fiverr.

Hey Lye,
You’ve made a great choice. I think Headway is a good choice if you don’t want to get a headache with coding especially with design. Headway themes allow you to customize your own design very easily actually. IMO if Thesis doesn’t suit (because of the coding), Headway is the next best thing

I have heard a lot of good things about Headway and it surely is a good choice. Personally, I offer Thesis because of simplicity which it offers in customization but I have also worked with Headway and it is a good choice.

So this is the new theme? Looks sweet, but maybe because i love orange on websites. It’s a warm color and not very used, unfortunately.
It definitely looks sharp and i like your banner/logo, i’d wish i could create something like that. Too bad my imagination when it comes to webdesign is very limited.
And the price’s not bad for the features it provides, i hope it brings you luck and you won’t regret the investment.
