Findmyblogway is One Year Old

I am pretty excited to inform Findmyblogway is officially one year old today. Yes, we have got past the first year barrier. Time really flies. I still remembered when i was just starting out, i am actually procrastinating in entering a saturated niche, the blogging niche. A niche that is dominated by those familiar A-list bloggers whom we know very well.

Do i regret it? NO. Financially i have not been able to achieve anything but mentally and emotionally, i am enjoying every minute of blogging about blogging tips day in day out. This is a niche that i know i won’t get tired of talking. People are advising me to blog in another niche if i want to make money online as i am competing in a niche which is highly competitive and difficult to stand out.

I DON’T AGREE.

A niche is not going to get saturated if the demand is always there. The problem is whether you have the ability and skills to stand out in a saturated niche. If you fail, don’t blame on the niche. Blame yourself for not pushing enough, not putting in more effort, not writing exceptional content and not having better luck. I know that i have not done more. But that’s ok. 1000 over visitors every month are still listening to me here. If you are reading this post now, thank you very much for your trust.

What Do I Want From My Blog

If i tell you i don’t want to earn money from this blog, that’s bull S**t. I still do but i won’t be pushing myself towards that aim. Making money will become the last priority of this blog. This past year of blogging made me realize how difficult it is to make money online especially in a niche like mine.

My main priority now is to continue writing content that people like to read. I would say i am not a newbie blogger anymore. Sure i won’t be knowing everything but i won’t hesitate to share anything i know regarding blogging and i hope you can learn something while you are here. I tend to see we are learning from each other. If i can learn something from you, that would be great.

What Do I Get From Blogging

Friends. A lot of friends. Friends whom i probably have no chance to meet for the rest of my life. The happiest thing is i am making new ones everyday. Friends from US, India, Australia and the rest of the world. Internet technology has advanced until the stage when you don’t have to meet each other everyday and yet you know what the other party is doing through social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and the lastest Google +.

Bloggers do need support from fellow bloggers. You will always remember people who links to you, promote your blog and even introduce you to their readers. I am thankful to all of you who has been helping and supporting me. A BIG THANKS.

Some Interesting Stats to Share

After one year of blogging, these are my blogging stats:

Total Post – 141 (Including this)

Comments – 3128

Twitter – 568 followers

Facebook – 52 fans

Alexa Ranking – 197,487

I get an average of 20-30 comments per post, i am rather happy with that. I have seen blogs that are far better but also blogs that are far worse. My social networking stats don’t command high numbers as i never really try to grow them. People who i follow in Twitter are genuinely for me to follow their tweets. Whether they follow back or not, i don’t really mind. My Facebook fanpage is rather low. I need to work hard on that. If you wish to support me, give us a like on the sidebar. Thanks.

We Are Here to Stay

We are officially one year old now. There will be more to come from me and this blog. My post frequency has been pretty consistent and i am really please with that. Some people are asking me whether i have any goals for this blog. No, i don’t like to set goals. Why? Goals can help you to create a better plan and a better aim, you must be thinking. My reason is simple.
