What is organic growth and why does it important to your blog? Organic growth in a blogging world or online business refers to a steady and long term growth strategy. As your blog gets more exposure in the blogosphere and you expand your network to grow traffic by net-working with other bloggers and your readers, your blog will have a steady growth.

You need organic growth if you have long terms goals for your blog. A fast and manufactured growth will see many visitors reaching your site at one time. But you need to maintain the readership for long terms. You wouldn’t want them to visit your blog today and wouldn’t come back in another day. An organic growth will surely be more valuable than a fast and manufactured growth. Whats the key do you need to have organic growth?

Lets visualize that your blog is a tree. To grow from a seedling to a tree, you require a lot of patience and hard work involved to achieve that. You need to fertilize it and take care of it so that it will grows according to what it requires to be. Your blog need to grow like a tree. What is the most important part of a tree? Its the roots! If we turn to a blog, the roots of a blog is definitely good content. You need to have good content to have a huge organic growth.

Your post have to be unique. Uniqueness is something that you can’t find in other blogs in the blogosphere. It is created by you and i would say the originality comes from you.  Use your unique voice to relate what you are trying to tell your readers. Show that you are the authority and you are the only one they should come to for a specific topic.

Ideally Layout of the posts

Sometimes you need to have some planning on how you are going to write the posts. If you are planning to write a long posts, you need to tell the key points in a systematically way for easy understanding. A poorly layout post will bore your readers and prevent them from reading your posts from start to end.

Post what your readers want

Although the blog is yours, but your readers is what motivates you for keeping on improving and maintaining the blog. Sometimes you need to understand what they wants. Check with them. You can do that by a poll. This shows that you value their opinions and they will be glad to answer any question that you have for them.

Informative

Most of the people come to your blog to look for information. Your content must be informative enough to let them get what they need. Its consider good content to them if you can provide useful information to them.

There are various way to produce great content. I encourage reading a lot as its the most effective way of having many post ideas. Keep those ideas coming and fulfill the essential requirements of a good content, you will be able to produce good content frequently in order to have organic growth in your blog.

Good content is very subjective in the eyes of different people. There maybe other key requirements but the most important of all is to be unique and original. Use your own voice and show your personality inside the post. You need to show some human nature and don’t think that just by hiding behind the computer, you wouldn’t have care.

The roots are growing steadily but just like branches in a tree, you need to spread your influence using various channels. To do that, you need to spread your net-working with other bloggers. They are your competitors but they can also be your valuable friends in the blogosphere.

Building relationship

Building relationship is very important if you need to have consistently organic growth in your blog. There are few ways to build relationship with other bloggers by :

• giving comments on their blog
• establishing a link with their blogs or post
• subscribe to their newsletter
• connect with them on social sites
• email them
• Cooperate and work with each other
• Learn from each other

Be as sociable as you can. I believe most bloggers are helpful and welcome healthy competition. Even if we are blogging on the same niche, there are a lot of ways which we can help each other out. The potential is enormous. You need to really dig into it to find out more.

This is the basic things that you need to do to maintain the organic growth. It is a long term work and patience is what you need. As long as you can grow your blog organically, you will ultimately see success occuring in your blog.
